Julian is a is a Member with the law firm of Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC. Julian's practice focuses on representing businesses of all sizes and select individuals in commercial disputes.
His practice mostly involves trial work in federal and state courts and before arbitration panels. As a result of his perspective in both the courtroom and as a former general counsel, Julian is skilled at drafting and negotiating contracts that can help avoid disputes.
Julian's regular case load includes contract disputes, motions for injunctive relief, lawsuits by and between contractors, enforcement of restrictive employment covenants and nearly every type of construction matter. He also is a frequent lecturer on electronic discovery.
In addition to his practice, Julian is an adjunct professor at Duquesne University School of Law where he teaches in the trial advocacy department and coaches several trial moot court teams.
Julian is a member of the rules of civil procedure committee and council for the construction law section of the Allegheny County Bar Association. He also is a United States Marine Corps veteran and is a member of the East Coast Drill Instructors Association.
